1992年。Matthew Sweet、Velvet Crush、Teenage Fanclub辺りのパワーポップが一気に台頭し始めた時代。その一派として注目を集めたLAのギター・バンドThe Permanent Green Light。元The Three O’ClockのメンバーだったフロントマンMichael Quercioが結成し、数枚のシングルとたった1枚のアルバムだけを残して解散。短命だったが故に根強いカルト人気を得ることに。今作は、バンドの代表曲とレア音源を集めてBurger Recordsがカセット化。さすが、Burgerは分かってる。
